Motorbus Brent Wellman is the Junior Program Director at the Delray Beach Tennis Center and a USTA High Performance Coach. Brent Wellman is not only a Autobus's coach, but a player's bus every bit well. Coach Wellman has the unique ability to piece of work with all age groups, and has concentrated his passion to Educate, Enrich and Encourage (3E'south).

There is a process involved in becoming a Division I actor or shooting for professional ranks is a path Charabanc Brent knows. This "process" is Coach Brent's passion, combined with knowledge, and feel using both "Old School" and 'Modern Coaching methods. Using video analysis and college video's, Passenger vehicle Brent has helped over a 100 players attain Higher scholarships. Coach Brent pleased to u to assist players go down the serious path in a positive way!

Brent has worked with and played a successful role in the development of numerous professional athletes in both lawn tennis and basketball game. Brent has coached Partitioning I basketball and tennis and has coached players from all over the world. Coach Wellman was the caput motorcoach at Academy of Central Florida, Pasco Hernando C.C. 1999-2002 and Hillsborough C..C.. 2002-2004. In 1987 named Division I, "Coach of the twelvemonth," in the Sun Chugalug conference at UCF.

Coach Wellman worked 8 years with the Tennissmith School in Tampa directing role player strength and workout programs and player stroke analysis. During the time with Steve Smith, Brent worked with legend Vic Braden on thespian development camps. For tennis fans, the holidays accept come up early! Tournament organizers at the Delray Beach Open up have appear that International Tennis Hall of Famer and 17-time Grand Slam champion John McEnroe will return to Delray Embankment for his fourth appearance in the tournament's ATP Champions Bout event Feb 16-xviii at the Delray Embankment Stadium & Tennis Centre.

The Presidents Day weekend USA vs. International ATP Champions Tour matches kick off the 10-day Delray Beach Open that too includes an ATP Earth Bout tournament — it'due south the only tennis result in the world combining an ATP World Tour and ATP Champions Tour tournament at the aforementioned effect.

Originally from Rochester, New York, Jeff Bingo and his family moved to Boca West Country Club in 1976 and so that he could pursue a career in tennis. Ever since he was 11 years old, Jeff's dream was to run, directly and to be involved in the developmental stages of a premiere Tennis Facility.

All throughout the Juniors, he maintained a Top x Florida Land ranking and Superlative 20 National ranking. Jeff worked with globe renowned coaches such as Brian Gottfried and the late Tim Gullikson, former coach of Pete Sampras. He attended the Academy of Alabama and Florida State on tennis scholarships and earned a degree in Economics.

His passion has always been pedagogy and coaching. Beginning in 1988, he was Head Tennis Coach for Men'south and Women's Lawn tennis at Lynn University. The women finished #2 in the country that year and won the National Championship the following year.

From 1988-1996, he as well coached some of the top Florida junior players. During that time, he also built a niche for existence a Doubles Strategy Specialist, education Ladies Doubles Strategy Camps to local ladies and men's squad members for the last 23 years.

Throughout Jeff's career, he has worked at the areas top Country Clubs such as Boca West, the Boca Hotel, and many others. He has also maintained his personal game and was ranked #2 in the USPTA Men's 40 Singles and #two UPSTA in the Men's 40 Doubles.

Amongst Jeff'southward achievements – He was responsible for developing and designing the Addison Reserve Tennis Facility and for promoting the Tennis Programs that have gained an exceptional reputation within a premier Golf game Customs. Jeff was the Managing director of Tennis at the Addison Reserve for over sixteen seasons.

Jeff started the "Battle of the Pro's ", which ran for three years from 1997 to 1999, an event in which local Pros participated. He put together a Fundraiser, Sponsorship, and Silent Auction, which enabled him to donate over $100,000 to the Hospice by the Sea in retention of his female parent. In 2005, Jeff co-chaired the "Love Affair with Venus Williams" tournament benefiting Cystic Fibrosis which raised more than $250,000 for the Foundation.

In addition to playing tournaments, during his spare time, Jeff loves to spend time with his children, conditioning and fish.
